Vegetable Sugar Cookies

Everyone I talked to this week (other than my sisters…love you guys 🙂 ) seemed to be on a diet or plan to eat healthier.  Guess how much they want to hang around me and my butter greased, sugar packed kitchen?  Yeah, not so much.  It’s true, I’ve been blessed with some awesome metabolism (I say blessed because really I have nothing to do with my weight-you’d be scared to see what my normal diet consists of) but I think everyone needs a little indulgence every now and then!  So this post is for you 🙂  By all means eat your vegetables but just remember to save a little room for dessert!

I had to use cookie cutters that I had on hand since no stores around me carry vegetable shaped cookie cutters…wonder why 🙂

For the carrot I used a triangle and just left room at the top for the leafy party.

For the celery I used a dog bone and just cut one end off 🙂

And the mushroom-well I think that is actually a mushroom shape! Someone gave me a bag of cookie cutters and that happened to be in there!
